The working holiday visas are part of the Australia’s Working Holiday Maker (WHM) program, designed for young people and provide the opportunity to travel and work while you are in Australia.
Working Holiday visas are temporary visas and divided into two subclasses, namely Work and Holiday Subclass 462 visa and Working Holiday Subclass 417 visa. They are primarily distinguished by the list of countries eligible for each visa.

They are usually issued for a period of 12 months, under a program of cultural exchange between Australia and certain nations. The purpose of these visas is to promote diversity and intercultural understanding.
